Service Description

A proactive service provided to trainees in technical colleges and institutes, allowing them to change their major based on the conditions related to the executive regulations.
The service is provided entirely electronically, allowing users to complete procedures online.
The service is accessible from all regions of the Kingdom, including reural areas.

Service Requirements

Service terms:
  • Submitting your application does not guarantee approval, so you must continue in your primary major until your request is approved, knowing that acceptance or rejection is determined by the relevant institution.
  • The trainee must submit the major change request no later than the end of the first week of the training semester.
  • The remaining standard duration must be sufficient to complete graduation requirements.
  • The courses and results obtained by the trainee in their old major will be recorded in their record, and it will be supplemented with the courses and results from the new major.
  • Scholarship trainees are not allowed to submit a major change request; such changes must be processed through the college.
  • Those enrolled in a bachelor’s program cannot change the major for which they were accepted.
  • A major change request cannot be submitted if more than 50% of the credits for the training plan have been completed.
  • New trainees are not allowed to submit a major change request.

  • ​Access the link to the TVTC's portal at tvtc.gov.sa.
  • In the TVTC's portals section, select the Rayat portal.
  • Next to the electronic services section, click on 'View All.'
  • Under the 'Trainees' tab, select 'Self-Services for Trainees.
