As part of activating the Memorandum of Understanding signed in the field of technical and vocational training between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, represented by the Academy of International Business Officers (AIBO), 55 staff members and leaders of the Corporation are participating in a workshop held from November 18 to 27 in Riyadh, entitled "Technical and Vocational Training Workshop and Economic Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
This event comes as a reinforcement of the growing partnership between the Saudi and Chinese sides, and in support of developing the training system and building national competencies in the Kingdom in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The workshop focuses on several key themes, most notably: an overview of the national situation in China, economic and trade cooperation between China and the Arab countries, and other topics such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, industrial opportunities in the new era, the reality of artificial intelligence and technological applications in the digital age, and the development of smart cities.
It is worth noting that the workshop between the two sides is held annually in two phases, the first in China and the second in Saudi Arabia. It is in its fifth edition this year.
