The Kingdom Wins 6 Awards at the WorldSkills Asia 2025

The Saudi delegation participating in the WorldSkills Asia 2025 competition, held in Taipei, Taiwan, from November 27 to 30, achieved a remarkable achievement by winning six awards across various technical and vocational skills. The competition featured over 500 participants representing 29 countries competing in 35 skills.

Saudi competitors secured second place in robotics, third place in web design, and third place in graphic design. The delegation also won two awards for excellence in graphic design and welding, in addition to the national team award in fashion design.

Dr. Adel Al-Zunaidi, Deputy Governor for Training, affirmed that these results reflect the ongoing efforts of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) to develop national talent and enhance its readiness for international competitions. He noted that these achievements demonstrate the leadership's support for young people and their ability to excel in diverse skills.

For his part, Engineer Fahd Al-Anzi, Director of Activities at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, clarified that the participation of contestants from various regions of the Kingdom, representing a number of institutions and sectors within the technical and vocational education and training system, was part of qualification programs overseen by the General Secretariat of the National Skills Competition. He emphasized that the results reflect the quality of training and institutional support, as well as the team's ability to compete and achieve excellence in technical and vocational skills.

The closing ceremony was attended by representatives of the participating delegations and a number of officials. The winners were honored, and the performance of the Kingdom's delegation was commended, further enhancing its presence within the technical and vocational skills system at the Asian and international levels.
