Colleges of Excellence and Prince Sultan Academy Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Support Efforts to Localize the Aviation Industry and Transfer Knowledge

His Excellency Governor of TVTC, Dr. Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Fahaid, and in the presence of His Excellency the Director General of the Saudi Airlines Group, Eng. Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, patronized the signing of a memorandum of understanding and joint cooperation between the Colleges of Excellence Company and Prince Sultan Aviation Academy. The aim of the memorandum is to exchanging expertise and information, and launching many distinguished initiatives in the field of training and development, which contributes to enriching the package of training programs in terms of quantity and content. 

On the basis of the memorandum of understanding, which was signed by the CEO of the Colleges of Excellence Company, Eng. Ayman bin Mustafa Al Abdullah, and the CEO of Prince Sultan Aviation Academy, Captain Ismail bin Salman Al-Kashi at the headquarter of the International Aviation Technical College in Riyadh; the two sides will cooperate in all areas of training and development related to the activities that are considered within their specialties and duties.

Moreover, the memorandum of understanding includes; discussing the best ways to exchange expertise and information in the fields of training and education; in addition to arranging the organizing of several joint workshops and training courses to serve and achieve common goals. It also includes direct support to the implementation and support of many studies and joint advisory services.

In addition, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al-Fahaid emphasized the importance of partnership between government and business sectors and the TVTC's keenness to enhance this type of strategic partnerships. He also underlined the extent of its positive impact in unifying complementary efforts and achieving the requirements of the labor market by providing qualified national cadres according to the highest levels of advanced training.   Dr. Al-Fahaid highlighted its contribution to keeping pace with nationalization programs by providing training solutions provided by TVTC to increase the contribution of national cadres in the labor market. His Excellency also praised the efforts of the Colleges of Excellence Company in qualifying national competencies and their excellence in providing job opportunities for graduates in all fields.

His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim Al-Omar explained that the signing of the memorandum of understanding is an implementation of one of the most prominent goals of the Saudi Airlines Group, which is to pay attention to human cadres by providing training and qualification services not only to its employees, but also to various government and private sectors, with the aim of contributing to the localization of jobs, whether for industries and services related to aviation or by providing distinguished training programs to other entities to serve their development and localization plans.

The Colleges of Excellence Company offers distinguished and pioneering training programs. It works to apply the highest international standards for applied training in the Kingdom through partnership with the best providers of training services in the world. In addition, it focuses in its training programs provided directly on meeting the needs of the local labor market and graduating qualified national cadres on a global level that enhances building human capacity in various fields and keeping pace with future needs to achieve sustainable development. 

Prince Sultan Aviation Academy is one of the specialized entities in the fields of flight, technical and administrative training related to aviation, in addition to the role it plays in providing advanced training to pilots, navigators and flight dispatchers who are associated with specialized jobs in the aviation sector.
