The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) has announced that the number of male and female trainees enrolled in various training institutions across the Kingdom reached 336,150 in 2024. Meanwhile, the number of graduates during the same year totaled 98,716.
TVTC spokesperson Fahad Al-Otaibi stated that TVTC is working to expand and increase the number of admissions and graduates in technical and vocational training programs annually. In the past year, five new technical colleges were launched with a total capacity of 4,042 male and female trainees. These include:
- The Digital Technical College for Girls in Tabuk
- The Technical College for Girls in Umluj
- Mohammed Al-Khudair Technical College in Riyadh Alkhabra
- The Technical College in Al-Khurma
- The Technical College for Girls in Sharurah
Al-Otaibi added that training programs were delivered through 314 institutions spread across all regions of the Kingdom, including:
- 148 technical colleges
- 99 secondary industrial institutes, institutes of architecture and construction, and training institutes in prisons
- 61 strategic partnership institutes
- 6 international technical colleges
It is worth noting that the TVTC is implementing several development initiatives for the technical training sector in the Kingdom. These initiatives aim to expand the capacity of training facilities and offer new specializations and training programs that align with the current and future needs of the labor market in Saudi Arabia.
