The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation stated that it provided 11,078 job opportunities for graduates of technical colleges and secondary industrial institutes during the month of December, in partnership with the business sector.
The official spokesman for the Corporation, Fahd Al-Otaibi, confirmed that contributing to creating job opportunities that suit the specializations of male and female graduates is one of the goals that the Corporation works to achieve. TVTC monitors its indicators periodically and implements many programs and projects that contribute to achieving this. During the same month, 124 meetings were held with human resources managers in the business sector, and 93 programs were implemented to prepare graduates for the labor market, in addition to holding 42 employment forums and exhibitions, and signing 24 memoranda of understanding with the aim of employing male and female graduates.
Al-Otaibi also clarified that the career coordination programs for graduates implemented by the Corporation are not limited to providing a job opportunity for the graduate, but rather include follow-up procedures after employment, through extrapolation and measuring the satisfaction of both parties concerned through studying and analyzing the questionnaires related to that, with the aim of developing various works in this aspect. 204 questionnaires were analyzed to measure employers’ satisfaction and 2,346 questionnaires to measure graduates’ satisfaction.
