The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation clarified that it provided (18,168) job opportunities, in coordination with the private sector, for male and female graduates of technical training programs, during the month of February of this year.
The Corporation added that it is working on implementing several programs and initiatives to facilitate the entry of graduates into the labor market in fields that suit their specializations, and it has launched several initiatives to contribute to achieving this, the most prominent of which is the “A Job Opportunity for Every Graduate” initiative. Career coordination offices have also been established in the various colleges and institutes affiliated with it. These offices activate cooperation programs and partnerships with business sectors in order to create suitable job opportunities for male and female graduates.
TVTC signed (29) memoranda of understanding with several companies during the same month, and (63) programs were implemented to prepare graduates to enter the labor market, in addition to holding (158) meetings with human resources officials in several entities with the aim of discussing ways of cooperation and partnership to attract graduates of technical training programs.
It is noteworthy that the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation holds employment exhibitions and forums in colleges and institutes with the aim of linking male and female graduates directly with employment agencies and introducing them to the available job opportunities. Last February, the number of exhibitions and forums reached (99) in various regions of the Kingdom.
