The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) is the government entity concerned with technical and vocational training in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for males and females, in accordance with the qualitative and quantitative demands of the labor market since 1980 /1400 AH. The Council of Ministers Resolution No. (268) dated Sha'ban 14, 1428 AH was issued to reorganize it and define its tasks and objectives.


The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation offers many training programs at its training facilities, including technical colleges and secondary institutes, as well as strategic partnership institutes, international technical colleges, private training facilities, in addition to community support programs.


We respect your privacy and we want you to be aware of how TVTC uses your personal data and your rights according to the Personal Data Protection Law in the Kingdom, we have prepared this policy to help you understand the nature of the personal data we collect, the purpose for which it is collected, how it is processed, stored, and destroyed, who it will be shared with, your rights, and how to exercise them.


By using TVTC's services, you agree to the Privacy Policy and its ongoing amendments, and we encourage users of TVTC's services to continuously check the Privacy Policy for any updates.



We collect your personal data directly from you through our online services that you register for, and we may collect it indirectly through a third party who provides it to us.


The personal data we collect for mandatory processing purposes includes the following:


• When you apply for admission to one of our training facilities, we collect the following personal data: name, identity, contact details, qualifications, city, region, health and employment information.

• When you are enrolled as a trainee in our training facilities, the following additional data is collected: Bank information.

• When you apply for employment, we collect the following personal data: name, identity, region, city, contact information, educational qualifications, experience and professional certificates.

• When you join the organization as an employee, the following additional data is collected: Family information, religion, address, passport/residence details, banking information, health data, and biometric data such as fingerprints.

• When you are enrolled in training programs offered by the Business and Community Service Center, the following data is collected:

Trainee: Name, identity, gender, contact information, education level, region, city, and employment information.

Trainer: Name, identity, gender, contact information, educational level, region, city, job description, bank account.


• Regarding private training, the following data is collected:

o When you enroll as a trainee in one of the training programs licensed by the General Directorate for Private-Sector Training at private Training Centers and Institutes, we collect the following personal data indirectly through these private training Centers and institutes: name, identity, contact information, and qualifications.

o When registering a training facility, we collect the following data:
Facility owner: Name, identity, city, region, contact information.
Authorized representative: Name, identity, authorization/power of attorney number, gender, and contact information.

o When applying for the certified trainer service, the following data is collected: name, identity, personal photo, contact information, address, qualifications, training courses and experience, and a recorded video of a training session.

o When requesting accreditation for the training and administrative staff members of a private training facility, the following data is collected: name, identity, qualifications and experience, registration data in the social insurance system, and contact information.


• Your personal data which you provide to us when communicating with us via mail or social media, or when registering for the organization's online services.

• Your personal data obtained through third parties, including but not limited to the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the National Information Center.

• If you have a contract or work commitment with us, your personal data will be collected in accordance with organizational and administrative requirements.

• Data collected through cookies - more details on this can be found in the 'Use of Cookies' section of this policy.


The personal data we collect from you for processing purposes, which is optional, includes the following:


• Your personal data which you provide to us through your participation in surveys and questionnaires.

• Your personal data that you provide to us during your participation in activities and events organized by TVTC.


Failure to provide your personal data or request the removal of your personal data may affect your ability to benefit from our services.


We collect personal data in accordance with TVTC's activity to be able to provide services to you. The main purposes for which we use your personal data are:


• Organizational and administrative purposes.

• To fulfill your orders and provide you services.

• To improve service performance and optimize the beneficiary experience.

• To conduct analytics and generate statistics for decision makers.

• To send awareness messages or messages related to the services provided to you.

• To fulfill judicial or security requirements.

• In addition to the above purposes, if you are a trainee, we use your personal data to complete the admission process, and monitor your training journey, and provide employers with your data after graduation for job placement purposes.


In accordance with our Data Sharing Policy and the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations, we may share your necessary personal data with authorized governmental or non-governmental entities to perform governmental services for specific purposes based on statutory grounds or a justified practical need, aiming to achieve a public interest without compromising national interests or privacy of individuals.


We may share your data with the following entities:


• Government entities related to the nature of TVTC's activity, for the purposes of integration and service delivery, including but not limited to the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and the National Information Center.

• Entities with which TVTC cooperates under memorandums of understanding or data exchange agreements, for legitimate purposes such as providing training, employment, or other services.

• Recruiters with whom we share graduate data for job coordination and placement purposes.

• Other training providers or training beneficiaries with whom we share personal data for training purposes.


Your personal data is shared in a secure and reliable environment, in accordance with the controls and policies of TVTC's General Directorate for Cybersecurity, with a commitment to not disclose your personal data to any third party for direct marketing purposes without your consent.


According to the Personal Data Protection Law in Saudi Arabia, the legal basis on which we collect and process personal data is as follows:


• TVTC is the governmental body concerned with technical and vocational training in the Kingdom, and is committed to carrying out its tasks and competencies according to the regulation of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation issued by Cabinet Resolution No. 268 on 14/8/1428 AH and amended by Cabinet Resolution No. 469 on 20/7/1438 AH, where the third article of the regulation stipulates the following: "TVTC aims to develop national human resources through training, pursuant?
which contributes to meeting the needs of the labor market in terms of qualified manpower."

• In compliance with a legal or statutory obligation or a government request from the relevant authorities [in accordance with the regulations, bylaws, orders, decisions, and instructions in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia].

• Pursuant to a contractual obligation that requires the processing of your data [such as contracts between you and TVTC to which you, the data subject, are a party].

• To protect your vital interests or the vital interests of others.

• We may process your personal data for the legitimate interests or purposes of TVTC, provided that this does not infringe upon your rights or conflict with your interests and that the data is not sensitive data, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law.

• Your consent to the collection and processing of your data. You may revoke your consent to the collection and processing of your personal data at any time, unless there is another statutory basis, and to do so you can contact the Personal Data Protection Officer at the Data Management Office via the following mail: protect@tvtc.gov.sa.


Your personal data is stored, processed, retained and disposed of in a secure manner that prevents its loss, misuse or unauthorized access, in accordance with the applicable regulations and policies in force in TVTC. This is done at TVTC's premises or servers within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, or through secure solutions in cloud computing services, subject to appropriate security measures to protect and preserve the data.


Personal data is retained for the necessary periods to fulfill TVTC's regulatory obligations and until the purpose of processing is completed. After which, it is securely disposed of in a way that prevents any further access or retrieval of the data. However, Personal data may need to be retained even after the purpose of its collection has ended in the following cases:


a. If there is a legal justification for retaining it for a specific period of time under law, regulation or for security reasons.

b. If the personal data is closely related to a claim before a judicial authority, and it is necessary to retain it for that purpose.

c. In the case where all elements that identify the individual personally are blocked.


TVTC prioritizes the protection of the personal data for its service beneficiaries. It makes efforts to provide high-quality services to the beneficiaries, and in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law. You have the right to:


• Right to be informed: You have the right to know how we collect your personal data, the legal basis for collecting and processing it, how it is processed, stored, disposed of, and to whom it will be disclosed. You can find all the details in this policy, or you can contact the Personal Data Protection Officer using the contact information shown in this policy.

• Right to request access to your personal data: You have the right to access your personal data available to us through the services provided on the online portal or by submitting a request to the relevant departments of TVTC.

• Right to request a copy of your personal data: You have the right to request a copy of your personal data available with us in a clear and identical format to the content of the records, either through the services provided on the online portal or by submitting a request to the relevant departments of TVTC.

• Right to request correction of your personal data: You have the right to correct, amend or supplement your personal data.

​ • Right to request the destruction of your personal data: You have the right to request the destruction of your personal data that we hold, if it is no longer needed - unless there are legal justifications that require otherwise. When you make such a request, we have the right to assess it and determine whether your data can be destroyed without affecting our ability to provide services to you in the future or our ability to fulfill any legal requirements.

• Right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data: You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data - at any time - unless there are legal justifications that require otherwise.

• Except as stipulated by law, you will not be required to pay any fees for exercising these rights.

• In recognition of the rights of data subjects, we will respond to you within 30 days of receiving your complete request. If we need more time to process your request, we will notify you and specify the expected time frame for its completion. In cases where the data subject is minor or legally incapacitated, their legal guardian may exercise these rights on their behalf, as required by (Article 13) of the Executive Regulations of the Personal Data Protection Law.
