The Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), Dr. Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Fahaid, sponsored the conclusion of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC)Football Cup Championship for the regions' teams 2023, which was hosted by the General Administration for Technical and Vocational Training in the Eastern Region during the period of May 3-9, 2023.
His Excellency crowned Al-Qassim region team with the championship title of TVTC Football Cup for the teams of the regions, with 12 teams representing the general Administrations for technical and vocational training in the regions of the Kingdom, where the tournament was held in the group system of one round, and arbitration was assigned to the main committee of referees of the Saudi Football Federation in the Eastern Region.
His Excellency the Governor, Dr. Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Fahaid, congratulated Al-Qassim team for winning TVTC Football Cup, and also congratulated all the trainees for their participation and enthusiasm, stressing that TVTC is keen to develop the trainees’ skills in all activities and is keen to develop the spirit of competition in all sports for the trainees. His Excellency emphasized that this tournament is one of the central programs of the General Directorate for Activities in technical and vocational training, which is one of the main and important sports that technical training is keen to implement in order to develop the capabilities and skills of trainees, both male and female, in the field of football in general.
On the other hand, the Deputy Governor for Training, Dr. Adel Al-Zunaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Trainees Fund, the sponsor and partner of the tournament, expressed his thanks to His Excellency the Governor of TVTC, Dr. Ahmed Al-Fahaid, for his sponsorship, support and follow-up of this tournament, and for his belief in the role of sports activities and their importance for youth.
He also expressed his appreciation for the creation of constructive competition and a stimulating environment within the training facility. He expressed his happiness with the success of the 2023 TVTC Football Cup Championship for the regional teams this year, which witnessed a lively presence and competition among the regional teams. He indicated that the qualifiers started since the beginning of last week with the participation of more than 300 trainees from the various training facilities of TVTC.
It is worth noting that Jazan team achieved second place and Al-Jouf team achieved third place.
