As part of efforts to enhance the beneficiary experience with electronic services, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) has launched a public consultation via its X (formerly Twitter) account regarding the development of its Technical and Vocational Volunteering Platform. The initiative aims to gather beneficiary feedback on their preferred areas for volunteering on the platform, helping the Corporation better understand community needs and more effectively meet the aspirations of its beneficiaries.

The consultation invited participants to weigh in on the following question: "In your opinion, which of the following areas should be added to the Technical and Vocational Volunteering Platform?" The options provided included: maintenance (air conditioning, automotive, and home appliance repair); training (specialized, qualifying, and developmental training); consulting services (engineering and training-related consulting); and general volunteering opportunities (non-specialized roles open to all).

The survey results indicated a clear preference for volunteering opportunities aligned with the interests of the beneficiaries. Consequently, these opportunities have been defined and distributed across the targeted areas—based on actual needs—and are scheduled to be rolled out in three phases throughout 2027.
