More than 215 thousand male and female trainees joined training programs in technical colleges, industrial, architecture and construction secondary institutes today, Sunday, in all cities and governorates of the Kingdom.
The Deputy Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation for Training, Dr. Adel bin Hamad Al-Zunaidi, clarified that the Corporation has completed all preparations to start the new training year early to receive male and female trainees and start providing training programs for them. Intensive workshops were also held during the past period for training leaders in the field with the aim of following up on logistical and training preparations for the start of the training year, preparing new male and female trainees to join colleges and institutes, and also following up on those continuing their training programs.
Al-Zunaidi also pointed out that the Corporation is implementing plans to expand the provision of training programs and increase the capacity of training facilities every year, as (4) new colleges were started during the current first semester, namely: the Digital Technical College for Girls in Tabuk, the Technical College for Girls in Shururah, as well as the Technical College for Girls in Umluj, and the Technical College for Boys in Al-Kharmah.
It is worth noting that TVTC provides training programs in 103 technical colleges for boys, 44 technical colleges for girls, and also in 98 secondary industrial, architectural and construction institutes as well as training institutes in correctional facilities in various regions of the Kingdom.
