TVTC Conducts a “Screening” Test for Applicants to its Job Competition

The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, represented by the Cybersecurity Department, held a “Screening” test for applicants to the job competition that it announced last July 28, which was held over two days between 19-20 Safar 1445 AH, at the headquarter of the Technical College for Boys in Riyadh.
The examination was allocated to applicants for the cybersecurity specialist competition, and due to the interest of TVTC in this field, which is cybersecurity management, it was keen to attract the best skills in this field; and to ensure the attraction of qualified candidates that fit the TVTC's needs and based on the principle of fair nomination, the Cybersecurity Department, in cooperation with Immersive Labs, has prepared virtual laboratories that simulate the cyber reality in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to practically examine the skills of applicants, as it is the first entity to use professional screening in the Kingdom.

The Director of the Cybersecurity Department, Eng. Asma Al-Yamni, stated that this step came as a continuation of several steps in developing human capabilities and employing them appropriately. TVTC gives high attention and priority to its cybersecurity in all areas of technical and vocational training, as it is followed up and supervised by H.E. the Governor, Dr. Ahmed. Bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to everything related to cybersecurity, she added.​

The Immersive Labs platform is one of the best platforms for training, raising skills, and recruiting in the field of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and industrial control systems. The process of preparing for the practical professional test began from the first day, immediately after the screening of 250 applicants was completed; and the candidates were qualified to enter the Immersive Labs platform on the second day in order to ensure attracting the best young Saudi skills and playing their role in achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in the field of cybersecurity.
