TVTC Holds the Closing Ceremony for the Codeavour 7.0 International Competition Finals
Under the patronage of the Deputy Governor for Training, Dr. Adel bin Hamad Al-Zunaidi, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation organized the closing ceremony for the Codeavour 7.0 International competition finals at the Technical College for Boys in Riyadh. This event was part of the #InnovationWeek2026 activities, celebrating national talent in the field of technological innovation.
The Codeavour 7.0 International competition is a leading global initiative that aims to empower students at an early age to utilize artificial intelligence technologies to develop practical solutions that support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year's edition focused on quality of life.
The competition focuses on implementing innovative AI-powered projects that address challenges related to these goals by providing smart solutions and technological systems with a tangible impact across various sectors.
The finals featured a select group of distinguished teams. More than 50 teams registered, and 20 teams qualified for the final stage to present their competitive projects to the judging panels.
The Deputy Governor for Training, Dr. Adel bin Hamad Al-Zunaidi, affirmed that this competition represents a unique platform for discovering emerging national talents and refining their skills in the fields of technology and innovation. He emphasized that supporting such initiatives contributes to preparing a promising generation capable of developing smart solutions that meet societal needs and align with development goals.
He added that the Corporation continues to foster innovation environments and empower talented individuals to transform their ideas into impactful, sustainable projects. This strengthens the Kingdom's position in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence and supports the achievement of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
This event is organized in partnership with several national entities, including the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, the Research, Development and Innovation Development Authority, and the Innovation Center (Monsha'at), in cooperation with Valley of Tomorrow.
This integrated event embodies the participating entities' commitment to supporting innovation, promoting a culture of technological solutions, and empowering a new generation of innovators in the field of artificial intelligence, thus contributing to building a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation.
