The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), coinciding with its observance of World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28th, published its achievements in this area for the year 2025. More than 1,400 awareness campaigns and lectures were implemented, including 250 blood donation drives across the Kingdom.
TVTC is committed to coordinating efforts in the field of occupational health and safety by developing annual plans through its relevant department and monitoring their implementation by training departments in various regions and training facilities. This ensures that objectives are met and the benefits of these efforts are maximized. Among the most prominent achievements were: providing over 120,000 medical services to the Corporation's employees, operating 74 medical clinics, and ensuring 100% compliance with occupational health and safety requirements in training facilities. This contributed to a stable health and safety level of 87% across all facilities, with no facilities falling under Category F, the lowest and highest risk category.
Efforts in 2025 extended to training and development fields, with 44 safety supervisors benefiting from training programs coordinated with the Civil Defense. Additionally, the Corporation collaborated with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority to train 60 employees. The number of training, awareness, and guidance programs implemented exceeded 400, aimed at transferring knowledge and skills. Furthermore, more than 44 awareness and educational publications were distributed for the same purpose.
It is worth mentioning that among the most prominent international days and events that have been activated in the Corporation's headquarters and training facilities are: World Blood Donor Day, World Hypertension Day, World Oral Health Day, World Food Safety Day, in addition to World Cancer Day, World Obesity Day, and World Health Day.
