The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation issued 50 licenses for new private training facilities during the past month of September, to enable them to practice training activities.
The official spokesman for the Corporation, Fahd Al-Otaibi, confirmed that the supervisory teams in the General Administration of Private Training carried out 29 inspection tours over private training facilities during the same period, and monitored 42 violations that were dealt with in accordance with the requirements of the system. Among the violations that were monitored are the breach of the conditions for advertising training programs, issuing certificates that do not conform to any of the training systems and instructions, the failure of the facilities to adhere to the regulations for holding development courses, deferral of procedures for renewing the license three months before its expiration, and cooperating with other parties without obtaining prior approval from the Corporation.
Al-Otaibi added that TVTC issued in September 66 certified trainer cards to practice training activities. He clarified that the Corporation is working to implement several procedures to ensure the quality of the outputs of the training programs, the most important of which is implementing comprehensive and qualifying tests, as the number of beneficiaries of these tests reached 9,270 beneficiaries.
