The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC)—across all its regional training departments and affiliated facilities, including technical colleges for men and women and secondary industrial institutes—has finalized preparations to celebrate Saudi National Day.
This cherished occasion will be marked by a wide range of events and activities aimed at trainees, staff, and the general public. TVTC will also participate in initiatives organized by government agencies, the private sector, and non-profit organizations, thereby activating the technical and vocational training sector's role in the community. These activities are being executed according to plans overseen by field leadership and relevant general departments.
The events are diverse, ranging from national celebrations and programs within training facilities—featuring formal ceremonies that highlight the nation's historical legacy alongside literary and artistic performances—to exhibitions and booths showcasing the cultural heritage and social fabric of the Saudi people. Additionally, there will be numerous competitions and activities spanning creative, cultural, artistic, athletic, and recreational fields, as well as skills-based and innovation contests that highlight the role of national talent in supporting the nation's development journey.
Numerous volunteer initiatives aimed at providing community services will also be implemented. These include the "Taqni Al-Ataa" (Technical Giving) program, which covers vehicle maintenance, home repairs for families in need, public facility maintenance, and mosque care. Health and environmental initiatives—such as blood drives, hospital visits, tree-planting campaigns, and efforts to improve the environment and urban landscape—will also be carried out to foster a sense of belonging and social responsibility among participating trainees. Scout and Rover teams also organize various activities, including parades, scouting camps, the distribution of gifts and tokens, and the provision of drinking water in public squares and spaces.
National Day celebrations also feature field visits to various organizations, as well as trips to museums and archaeological and historical sites—activities that play a vital role in instilling a sense of the nation’s cultural and historical heritage in its citizens. Additionally, training facilities offer a range of free workshops and training courses for the community, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and the development of skills.
