As part of efforts to motivate outstanding trainees and encourage their continued excellence throughout their training journey, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) has finalized the disbursement of excellence awards to trainees at technical colleges and industrial institutes for the 1447 AH training year. A total of 3,920 male and female trainees received these awards across the two categories.
Dr. Adel bin Hamad Al-Zunaidi, Deputy Governor for Training, stated that the Corporation aims to support young national talent and honor high achievers through these awards. He emphasized that investing in trainee excellence contributes to enhancing the quality of national workforce outcomes, thereby meeting labor market demands.
The "Biannual Excellence Award" for the past year was awarded to 1,920 trainees. This award, valued at 1,000 SAR, is granted to continuing trainees who have successfully completed the third training semester in accordance with the training plan. Meanwhile, 2,000 graduates received the "Graduate Excellence Award" for the same year; this award consists of a 2,000 SAR cash prize, a certificate of excellence, and an honor from the training institution, recognizing their academic distinction throughout their training program. The process for awarding the excellence bonus—across both its categories—follows a mechanism approved by the Trainee Excellence Bonus Committee at the General Administration for Trainee Affairs. This process begins with generating lists of eligible trainees, reviewing their data, and verifying that they meet the required criteria.
Subsequently, the bonus is disbursed through the Trainee Fund, followed by notifying the training institutions and sending them lists of their high-achieving trainees who received the award, along with certificates of excellence.
