The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation confirmed that the number of licenses granted to private training facilities reached (200) licenses in 2023 AD, in order to practice providing training programs in several fields.
TVTC official spokesman, Fahd Al-Otaibi, clarified that the Technical Training Corporation is continuously working to develop the private training sector, the services provided to it, and the facilitations for granting licenses to training entities to enhance the growth of the private training market in light of the application of quality standards; hence the number of currently licensed facilities exceeded (1,300) facilities in various regions.
Al-Otaibi added that through the Corporation’s implementation of the “self-evaluation” compliance project; which consists of evaluating private training facilities for their own performance according to a self-monitoring system to measure the facility’s level of compliance with the sector’s regulatory regulations; The percentage of compliance with training regulations and systems reached (96.3%) during the past year.
The official spokesman for the Corporation indicated that it granted ‘the certified trainer card’ to more than (4,000) male and female trainers after they had passed the required standards, which enables them to provide training programs in a systematic order. In addition, TVTC implemented (7,115) computerized tests, the number of beneficiaries of which exceeded (84,000) male and female beneficiaries during the period of the same year.
The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, represented by the General Administration for Private Training, also obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certificate in 2023 for its efforts in applying the highest international standards in quality management.
