The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation issued 37 new licenses to private training facilities in various fields, and 51 certified trainer cards to practice training activity last August.
The official spokesman for the Corporation, Fahd Al-Otaibi, clarified that the Corporation is working to follow up on the implementation of the regulations and systems of private training to control the quality of training programs provided by private training facilities, through the implementation of several procedures, most notably periodic supervisory visits, which numbered 18 supervisory visits during the past month.
Al-Otaibi indicated that the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation monitored 37 violations in private training institutes and centers in August, and they were dealt with in accordance with the requirements of the system. He added that among the most prominent violations committed by the facilities were non-compliance with advertising controls, issuing certificates that violate training regulations and instructions, non-compliance with the terms of admission and registration in training programs, using the headquarters of the training facility or part of it for purposes other than those licensed by the Corporation, and the presence of members of an administrative or training body that are not accredited.
