The Board of Directors of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation held its meeting No. (117) on October 4, chaired by the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Corporation’s Board of Directors, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, and in the presence of the board members, representatives of government agencies and the private sector.
At the beginning of the session, the Minister of Education extended his deepest thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the continued government support for the education and training system.
His Excellency praised the achievements achieved by the male and female trainees of the Corporation’s colleges and institutes, including their recent receipt of (11) international awards at the International Exhibition of Inventions, Innovations and Technology, which was held in Singapore.
The Council discussed several topics, most notably the privatization of (6) colleges of excellence, and the transfer of licensing and supervision of private institutes for foreign languages from the Ministry of Education to the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.
