TVTC launched the Saudi Skills National Competition 2024 today under the patronage of Dr. Adel Al-Zunaidi, the Deputy Governor for Training. The competition will run over two weeks and take place across several regions, including Riyadh, Makkah, Qassim, and the Eastern Province.
This competition is part of the international WorldSkills framework, representing a global competitive platform for professional skills aligned with the highest international standards. It plays a significant role in nurturing local talents and offering programs and initiatives that adhere to these global benchmarks. Winners of the competition will be nominated to participate in regional and international contests.
TVTC has been committed to enhancing the skills and capabilities of trainees, focusing on developing specialized skills that positively contribute to the qualification of national talents and equipping them with the competencies needed to meet the demands of various business sectors.
The competition will be hosted at several technical colleges, institutes, and schools, covering diverse fields such as electrical installations, electronics, graphic design, web design, mobile robotics, fashion design, and welding. The venues have been prepared in line with the required standards and criteria, with judging panels comprising local and international experts.
