Under the patronage of his Excellency, the governor of the TVTC, Dr. Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid, has made conference. This was in the presence of his Excellency the deputy governor for training, the assistant deputy, Supervisor of the technical colleges for girls, the general directors of the regions and the deans. The meeting was held to discuss admission procedures, preparations and readiness for the training year 1444 AH and introducing programs for new trainees.
At the beginning of the meeting, his Excellency expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for its continuous support and empowerment for technical training to achieve the objectives of the human capacity development program and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. He stressed on the importance of investing this support in enhancing productivity, improving performance, and keeping pace with the national need in the labor market. In addition, to raise the efficiency of outputs in line with international best practices in technical and vocational training.
He also directed to raise the capacity to 45 thousand in the technical colleges and industrial institutes. Where he explained that, the number of those accepted during the first training semester reached more than 34,000 trainees in both industrial colleges and institutes. The international colleges of technology and institutes of strategic partnerships are not included in this statistics.
His Excellency stressed on the need for concerted efforts to start training from the first day. Where he requested to create a training environment, provide the best necessary services for trainees, and adhere to the approved timeline for the next training semester.
At the end of the meeting, his Excellency thanked all the leaders present including trainers and administrators, for their efforts in the journey of transformation into the three-semester system. He stated to all urgent preparations, issuance of guides and organizing regulations, and continuous follow-up to complete training requirements with efficiency and quality.
