During 2026, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) approved a total of 3,313 diverse training programs for private training facilities across the Kingdom.
The General Department of Curricula clarified that the approval process for training programs in the private training sector follows validation by specialized evaluators—numbering over 1,200—from both within and outside the Corporation. These evaluators assess the programs according to established guidelines, under the supervision and monitoring of a specialized team of curriculum experts, to ensure compliance with all standards and requirements.
The Department noted that applications for program accreditation—covering both diploma programs and professional development or qualification courses—are received by the General Department of Private Training. These are subsequently reviewed by the General Department of Curricula to verify the completeness of documentation and forms, as well as the quality of the program content. If any issues are identified, the applications are returned to the facilities for rectification prior to final approval.
This mechanism aligns with the regulatory role played by the TVTC in the private training sector, which involves formulating policies and adopting initiatives to support this vital sector, while also ensuring the quality of training outcomes across the Kingdom's more than 2,800 licensed private training facilities.
