The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) announced that it recorded (288) violations in private training institutions during the first half of this year, and these were addressed in accordance with the applicable regulations.
TVTC’s official spokesperson, Fahad Al-Otaibi, explained that the corporation continuously monitors the performance of private training institutions to ensure compliance with quality standards. He pointed out that the most prominent violations included having unaccredited training or administrative staff, breaching advertisement requirements, tampering with registered data such as records, documents, and results, as well as failing to comply with training regulations and instructions, and not renewing licenses within the legally specified period.
Al-Otaibi affirmed the corporation’s commitment to providing all necessary support and encouraging the private sector to invest in vocational training, in addition to fostering opportunities for growth and development in this field. He noted that the corporation granted (194) new licenses to private training institutions during the same period after fulfilling all licensing requirements, in addition to issuing (237) certified trainer cards, enabling qualified individuals to conduct training activities within licensed institutions.
It is worth noting that among the quality standards applied by TVTC in the private training sector is requiring trainees to successfully pass examinations conducted by the corporation to ensure the quality of training program outcomes. The total number of candidates who took the comprehensive and qualification exams reached (36,705) male and female trainees during the first half of this year.
