The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation has approved more than 1,600 training programs for private training facilities in the Kingdom during the first half of 2024.
The official spokesman for the Corporation, Fahd Al-Otaibi, clarified that the approval of training programs in the private training sector comes after their review and approval by specialized arbitrators from inside and outside the Corporation, whose number exceeded 700 arbitrators. They worked to study and arbitrate the training programs according to the approved regulations, and under the supervision and follow-up of a specialized team of curriculum experts, to ensure that the training programs meet the professional standards and requirements.
Al-Otaibi pointed out that requests for accreditation of training programs for private training facilities of both types - diploma programs and development and qualification programs - are received by the General Administration of Private Training at the Corporation, and then reviewed by the General Administration of Curricula, to ensure that these programs comply with the quality standards required in private training facilities, which currently exceed 1,300 licensed facilities in various regions of the Kingdom.
It is worth noting that TVTC is working to develop the private training sector and encourage the private sector to invest in the field of training, prepare regulations, systems and legislation for this sector, and launch developmental initiatives that contribute to its development and improve the level of services provided.
