Technical Training Qualifies More Than 11,000 Saudi Men and Women in the Field of Tourism

The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation clarified that the number of graduates of tourism programs from its affiliated colleges reached 11,144 male and female graduates by the end of 2024.

The Deputy Governor of the Corporation for Training, Dr. Adel bin Hamad Al-Zunaidi, confirmed that the Corporation works through technical colleges and colleges specialized in the field of tourism to support the growing tourism sector in the Kingdom with qualified national human cadres according to the highest levels, with the aim of meeting the growing need to operate projects in this sector in which the Kingdom has achieved great progress during the past years and has become one of the fastest growing countries in it, and aims to receive 150 million tourists by 2030.

Al-Zunaidi added that the Corporation provides training in the fields of tourism within 5 technical colleges specialized in tourism and hotels in Madinah, Al-Muzahmiyya, Taif, Qassim and Hail, and 1) technical colleges that provide training programs in the departments of tourism and hospitality within its other training departments.

It is worth noting that the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation designs training plans and programs in training facilities in line with the labor market’s need for skills. The training programs offered in the tourism sector include several specializations, the most prominent of which are: travel, tourism, hotels, Hajj and Umrah services, in addition to tourist guidance, event management, hospitality management, and food service and production.
