To enhance the quality of training and services provided to trainees, TVTC has paid attention to developing human capabilities through the optimization of the best international practices, and transferring expertise and distinctive experiences to develop human capital. The General Directorate of Training Quality at TVTC implemented more than 90 programs and workshops, in cooperation with a number of government sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and nearly 3000 beneficiaries have benefited from these programs and workshops in different areas of quality.
As part of the continuous efforts in following up the training facilities and encouraging the quality of training, Engineer Osama Al-Azhari, the Director General of Training Quality , explained that the directorate has adopted a number of measures to promote continuous improvement of operational processes, raise the efficiency of training quality in training facilities, improve the performance of trainers and identify the needs of trainees. The directorate worked on tools to measure trainees' satisfaction with the services provided to them through field and secret visits to the facility (the hidden explorer). It was also interested in measurement tools through various surveys that relied on electronic questionnaires, and focus groups through direct communication with the trainees to answer a set of quality-related questions. In addition, the directorate has worked on the follow-up of the evaluation of trainers, the measurement and analysis of trainees' results, and the procedures of training guidance within the departments and training workshops.
Furthermore, Eng. Al-Azhari explained that the directorate is working on a number of development projects in support of obtaining institutional accreditation, as the goal is for 151 training facilities to obtain institutional accreditation during the next three years. These projects include a project to support continuous improvement of training facilities regulations and procedures, a project to measure the quality of outputs, and a project to build a digital platform to measure the quality of practical skills as a tool for measuring and evaluating trainees' skills.
