TVTC and the Saudi Sports for All Federation signed a cooperation agreement aimed at discussing ways of joint cooperation between the two sides to achieve the required support for implementing programs and activities that help spread the culture of sports.
The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) was represented by His Excellency the Governor, Dr. Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Fahaid, while the Saudi Sports Federation was represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation, His Royal Highness Prince Khaled bin Al-Waleed bin Talal Al Saud.
Among the terms of the agreement, which was signed today at the headquarters of the International Aviation Technical College in Riyadh, is to work on launching sports programs and initiatives for the participation of all groups of both genders and of different ages from TVTC’s staff; to work on preparing specialized sports facilities within TVTC’s facilities; and to create a generation that is physically, healthily and mentally prepared, and able to meet the needs of his country in development and construction, in accordance with the modern programs of the Federation.
In this regard, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Fahaid explained that TVTC has gyms inside the training facilities, works to implement sports activities for both genders and motivates trainers and trainees to participate and interact by launching various sports programs. His Excellency mentioned that TVTC concluded its Football League a few days ago, which witnessed enthusiasm and follow-up from everyone. TVTC’s female trainees also participate in sports games that are held periodically within the training facilities. His Excellency explained that TVTC is keen to deepen the concept of sport through various activities programs and to prepare its training facilities with specialized sports facilities to achieve a healthy and sustainable life that lives up to the aspirations of its trainees and employees. His Excellency looks forward to achieving the objectives of this agreement, God willing.
His Excellency stressed that this keenness is an extension of the keenness of our wise government under the leadership and guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman - May God protects them - to give sports great attention and care, which is clearly reflected in the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which emphasized the importance of sports, and set ambitious goals for the development and advancement of the sports sector in the Kingdom, including raising the percentage of sports participants, improving the quality of its activities, and encouraging various types of sports in order to achieve excellence at the local and global levels.
For his part, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Al-Waleed bin Talal Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Sports for All Federation, said: “We are pleased to sign this agreement with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), through which we seek to spread the sports culture among TVTC’s staff by organizing many sporting events and activities. This step reflects the Federation's strategy aimed at building a healthy and vibrant society, by activating awareness initiatives and programs, through which we seek to increase the volume of physical activity and community participation, in innovative ways to achieve the goals of the Quality of Life Program, one of the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
