The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation clarified that it provided 25,171 job opportunities in coordination with the business sector for male and female graduates of technical training programs during May of this year.
The Corporation added that it signed 54 memoranda of understanding with several entities during the same month, and 136 programs were implemented to prepare graduates to enter the labor market, in addition to holding 214 meetings with human resources officials in several entities with the aim of discussing ways of cooperation and partnership in order to attract male and female graduates of technical training programs.
Questionnaires were distributed to measure employers’ satisfaction, amounting to 594; while other questionnaires were distributed to measure graduates’ satisfaction, amounting to 6,337.
The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation added that it is working to implement several programs and initiatives to facilitate the entry of graduates into the labor market in fields that suit their specializations. It has launched several initiatives to contribute to achieving those, the most prominent of which is the “A Job Opportunity for Every Graduate” initiative. Career coordination offices have also been established in various colleges and their affiliated institutes. They work to activate cooperation programs and partnerships with business sectors, in order to create suitable job opportunities for male and female graduates.
It is noteworthy that TVTC holds employment exhibitions and forums in colleges and institutes with the aim of linking male and female graduates directly with employment agencies and introducing them to the available job opportunities. Last May, the number of employment forums and exhibitions reached 141 in various regions of the Kingdom.
