His Excellency the Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), Dr. Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Fahaid, met today at the headquarters of the International Aviation Technical College in Riyadh, a delegation from the World Bank headed by the Acting Regional Director of the World Bank, Ms. Anush Bezhanyan.
His Excellency welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of these meetings in the development of work, as well as, appreciating the joint cooperation between TVTC and the World Bank.
The delegation and His Excellency the Governor toured the college's facilities; and listened to a detailed briefing on TVTC's future plans and programs, and the expansion in the strategic partnerships programs.
His Excellency the Governor briefed the visiting delegation on the future plans that TVTC is working on, which focus on modern trends for professions and technical skills. His Excellency reviewed the results and recommendations of the study tour conducted by TVTC delegation to the Federal Republic of Germany earlier this month.
At the end of the meeting, the accompanying bank delegation expressed its admiration for the extent of the development of TVTC's programs and its ability to achieve its goals, praising the role played by TVTC in qualifying national cadres in line with the needs of the Saudi labor market.
