At the Governing Palace in Riyadh, with the blessing of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) won the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University Competition in its third session, and received the award for (The Best Distinguished Community Work on Founding Day and National Day) for the year 2022.
Several governmental, educational, and military entities have also participated in the competition, according to specific regulations and criteria.
The community efforts that were held and activated by TVTC, and with the patronage of TVTC's Governor, Dr Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Fahaid, were met with success.
TVTC believes in the importance of community work, and it shows through its participation in the Kingdom’s national events with programs and initiatives that have a continuous impact. Thus, the training facilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have worked together with their qualified cadres to launch distinguished community initiatives and programs that are compatible with national events, such as National Day and Founding Day. Furthermore, trainees of the training facilities and employees of training sector have been working with the “Otqin” program in its seventh session, which was launched in 2022. It includes short courses that aim to spread the culture of technical and vocational work to all segments of society. TVTC has also launched "Teqani Al-Ataa" initiative through its facilities, which is activated on the national events as various voluntary activities are offered across the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is worth mentioning that the award that TVTC won for the second time in a row was received on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, by His Excellency Dr. Adel Al-Zunaidi, who met with His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, in his office. His Highness congratulated TVTC on this victory, prompting more of such efforts of giving and serving this country.
