TVTC, represented by the General Secretariat of the National Skills Competition, is participating in the Asia Global Skills Competition, which will be held in UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, during the period from 27 to 29 November 2023. The team is participating in four skills: the mobile robots skill, the welding skill, electrical connections skill, and fashion and style skill.
Dr. Adel Al-Zunaidi, Deputy Governor for Training, explained that TVTC, represented by the General Secretariat of the National Skills Competition, continues its efforts to support and discover talented and creative people, develop their skills and qualify them to participate in international competitions and exhibitions, with the aim of preparing national cadres according to the highest levels to contribute to the development of the nation.
Al-Zunaidi added that young people are considered the real investment in the future, and from this standpoint, TVTC is working to implement many initiatives and programs in various colleges and institutes, with the aim of empowering young people and developing their abilities and skills.
It is worth noting that the World Skills Asia Competition, which is being held in its second session, will be attended by a number of contestants and experts from more than (30) countries, across (27) technical and professional skills.
