The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation announced the granting of (16) licenses to new private training facilities during the month of last November in order to practice providing training programs in several fields in various regions.
The Corporation added that, as part of its follow-up to develop and control the quality of the private training market, (43) training violations were recorded in the same month, including licensed and unlicensed training entities. The General Administration of Private Training in TVTC is working to follow up on the quality of performance of licensed entities in light of the implementation of the executive rules and procedures of the training regulations in private training facilities, observing entities that practice training without obtaining a license, and dealing with them in accordance with the regulations and procedures assigned for that.
TVTC also explained that during the month of November, (66) certified trainer cards were also issued, as the Corporation aims - through implementing the Certified Trainer Initiative - to improve the training environment and to contribute to controlling and organizing the private training market and raising its quality. This initiative is concerned with qualified trainers to be granted accredited certificates in order to practice training.
It is noteworthy that the Corporation supervises more than (1,200) licensed private training facilities in various regions of the Kingdom.
