HE Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafis, Governor of Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) paid a visit to the Republic of Finland, to get acquainted with the Finnish experience in the technical and vocational training field. The visit included a number of educational institutions, colleges and technical and vocational institutes in Finland, where he met with the Finnish Minister of Education, and a number of directors and deans of colleges and technical institutes in Finland.
During the visit, they discussed aspects of cooperation between Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and Finnish organizations to take advantage of their experience in the management and development of technical and vocational training programs.
Concluding his visit, Dr. Al-Ghafis also met with the last batch of training units leaders in the corporation, who have completed a training program in educational institutions management.
The governor praised the Finnish experience in the technical and vocational training field, pointing out that the TVTC will activate the cooperation with Finland to implement more developmental training programs for its employees as well as cooperation with leading Finnish institutions in technical training.
