The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) has inaugurated here Saturday “Graduate Affairs Forum” in the Holy Capital of Makkah. The four-days forum discussed the development of technical skills of managers and directors of graduate affairs of the various councils.
In his address to the forum the Chairman of Makkah Council Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani welcomed the audience and stressed the important role of the College of Technology and its readiness to host the activities of the forum.
On his part, the Director of graduate affairs of Makkah Council Hussein bin Mohammed Al-Ghamdi said that the Forum discussed several important issues among which are: Strategic planning Course, the Five Stages of Planning Projects, Planning Stages of Graduate Affairs and a workshop on Strategic Planning. Other issues discussed were the successful experiences on employment related training.
It should be noted that the technical and Vocational Training Corporation holds this type of Forums annually. The aims of the forums is enhance relations between the TVTC and its graduates, qualify and upgrade the performance of graduates in order to achieve harmony between the technical level of the graduate and the requirements of the labor market and development needs through cooperative training and Joint Training Programs with the private sector.
