The Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al Ghafis has inaugurated yesterday the technically talented person’s forum.

Addressing the forum, the Governor said that the most important of the objectives of the forum is to find a conceptualization of the terms “technically talented” and the “innovation culture” in addition to discovering ways and means of discovering the talented person in order to sponsor him and support him.

The Governor called on officials and organizers of the forum to put more efforts to upgrade the talented trainees and provide material and moral support for them. Dr. Ali stressed that this forum comes as part of the efforts of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation in sustainable development of talents and innovations within its affiliates all under the directives of the sagacious Leadership.

On his part, the Director of Trainee Service at the Directorate General of the TVTC Ziyad bin Ibraheem Al Sayigh said that the forum supports talents and innovators and enhances the culture of innovation in addition to explaining the concept of the “technically talented” and how to discover him/her and how to sponsor him/her. The Director added that 50 working papers were presented for the forum but only sixteen were accepted.

It should be noted that there are only two main topics that will be discussed, these are:

First: Ways and means of discovering and sponsoring the talented.

Second: Marketing the innovations and means of protecting them.

It should be noted that the forum includes a large number of specialized experts from the Kingdom and some talented trainees who are going to speak about the ways of discovering the talented persons.
