The Governor of Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafis has signed an agreement with Al Juffali Company represented by its Deputy president Khalid Al Juffali . The signing ceremony took place at Jeddah on Tuesday 18th November 2011.
The Saudi-German Institute which will cost about SR150 million, was established as a result of the strategic partnership between the TVTC and companies with large number of workers.
The Governor expressed his gratitude to the Saudi leadership for the unlimited support to technical and vocational training sector which he said reflects the interest and care of the Custodian of the two holy Mosques, the crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier.
Dr. Al-Ghafis added that the partnership with Al Juffali Brothers Company is an important step in the strategic partnership program because several German Companies will take part and contribute as technical partners especially Mercedes Benz, Siemens etc who will also send German trainers to the Institute.
On his part, the Deputy President of Al Juffali Company Khalid Al Juffali welcomed the partnership with the TVTC and thanked it for such policy adding that his Company is quite keen in training and qualifying Saudi nationals in order to achieve comprehensive economic development in the Kingdom.
It shall be noted that the technical and Vocational Training Corporation has entered into partnership with many private sector companies and organizations in line with the objectives of the comprehensive development which aims at offering a bigger role to the private sector in development plans.
