The Governor of Qassim Region His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated yesterday the international day for environment. The event was organized by Qassim Food and Environment College of Technology.

At the site of the event the Governor was cut the opening strip for the opened the biodiversity and eco-tourism exhibition.

The Governor then opened the Desert Garden Park and was briefed about its aims and objectives.

In answering press questions, the Governor said that every man on earth shall be an important hand to maintain the environment.

“The Leadership gives great care to this issue and established a number of institutions to cater for it. These institutions have played important roles in maintaining the environment and supporting it” His Royal Highness added.

“all officials are delegated by the Leadership to do everything possible to maintain environment because the Islamic religion calls for keeping the environment clean” the Governor continued.
