In the framework of his visit to the Eastern Region, His Excellency the Minister of labor Engineer Adel bin Mohammed Faqih paid an official visit to Al Zamil Industries of the TVTC. The Minister was briefed the Managing Director about the activities of the Company and its efforts to persuade Saudi youth to join its training courses and work for it. The Managing Director said that there are now more than 1400 Saudi youth who are working for the Company.

His Excellency the Minister praised the Company for its efforts to train and employ Saudi youth who proved that they are capable of taking up responsibility of work.

The Minister added that he was very proud with what the Company has achieved wished it good luck.

During his visit the Honorable Minister also visited the Saudi Technical Institute for Petroleum Services where he was briefed on the type of studies and training taking place there and he toured the workshops of the institute, its classes and met with its 700 students. The Minister also paid an official visit to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals where he was received by the vice-chancellor Dr. Khalid Al Sultan and other senior officials at the University.

At the end of his official visit to the Eastern Region the Minister visited the Eastern Region’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry where he was received by its Chairman Abdurrahman Al Rashid and other members of the Board of Directors and some businessmen.
