His Excellency the Minister of Labor Engineer Adel bin Mohammed Faqih has on Tuesday 11th January 2011 inaugurated the graduation ceremony of over 1000 Saudi youth who completed their courses on salesmanship at the Saudi Institute for Retail Salesmanship in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, Al-Ahsa and Aseer. The course was financed by Human Resources Development Fund.
His Excellency the Minister commended the cooperation between the TVTC and the Human Resources Development Fund. It should be noted that the course had lasted for four months.
At the end of the ceremony, the Minister answered several questions from journalists. He answered a question about whether women would not be allowed to work as cashiers in supermarkets, he said that his Ministry will implement the instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Decision of the Cabinet 120 regarding women’s work, adding that the new regulations will be quite clear and will not give way to any interpretations or misunderstanding.
As for reducing recruitment charges he said that his Ministry has no power to reduce these fees. But the Shoura Council is studying this issue if they finished their work on it will be sent to the Cabinet for approval.
