The Chairman of Makkah Technical and Vocational Training Council Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Zahrani has approved the take off of the Summer Program in partnership with AL-BAIK Food Systems. The program which will take place at the workshop of Makkah College of Technology and Jeddah Vocational Secondary Institute is titled “With Al Baik you are the Hero of Your Home”.
The Chairmen commended the take off of the program which is also celebrating its 10th birthday.
On the other hand, the Executive Director of Al Baik Food Systems Eng. Rami Abu Ghazalah said that the activities of the program are divided into two sections. One specified for male students where 150 of them join it at Makkah while 250 others will join it at Jeddah. Their training includes management essentials, workshops, car maintenance, basics of electricity, safety procedures, basic plumbing, first aid, fire fighting, safety hazards, as well as courses in home maintenance, and paint skills.
The other section according to the CEO is for female students whose number totals 150 students too. Their program according him includes training in the art of decoration, arts, basics of home health, self-care including etiquette, basics of cooking, fitness, safety, prevention of hazards, first aid and fire fighting.
It shall be noted that over 4000 students benefited from this program in the past nine years.
