Madinah College of Technology organized Tuesday morning a campaign for prevention from injuries and accidents in cooperation with the National Awareness Campaign for prevention from injuries and accidents program. The program aims at increase the general awareness in avoiding accidents – God forbid–. It included a lecture by Dr. Wa’el Qassoum about accidents and injuries, and later Dr. Ahmed Al-Madani made a presentation about some accidents caused by recklessness and negligence or by lack of information and how to protect ourselves from such accidents.
The President of General Studies Center at the College Aadil bin Nasser Al-Zahiri said that organizing such activities comes within the framework of educating trainers and trainees about accidents resulting from the dangers of work environment by creating a safe work environment free of accidents and well protected from dangers by will of god.
On his part, the Dean of the college, Dr. Saleh bin Auwwad Al-Ahmadi thanked all members of the campaign for their relentless efforts in spreading awareness about accidents and injuries and means and ways of protection from them.
