Her Excellency the Deputy Governor of the TVTC and the accompanying delegation, has paid a working visit to New Zealand in order to acquaint themselves with the country's experiment in Technical and Vocational Training. Her Excellency visited 6 Pioneer Technical Institutes in New Zealand among these are Waikato Technical Institute, Wakington Technical Institute and Christ Church technical Institute.
The Deputy Governor also visited Saudi female students sent to New Zealand by the TVTC on scholarship as part of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques program for preparing technical trainers. The visit was aimed to give a look at the conditions of these students and ensure that life and study are running on smoothly.
At the end of her visit, the deputy Governor held meetings with officials at the Benz Educational Agency, New Zealand’s Educational Quality Assurance officials and the Executive Director of the Ministry of Education Mrs. Curtin Sewell and discussed with her possible cooperation between the Kingdom and new Zealand.
