The Female delegation accompanying Finland’s Minister of Trade Dr. Paavo Vairinn has paid a visit to Girls Technical Training Management. The guests were received by the senior managers on behalf of the Deputy Governor Dr. Nourah bint Sulaiman Al Alula. The Finnish delegation included Ms. Murphy Janssen the Director of Development Affairs, Sana Prior Supervisor of Social media department. The delegation was briefed on the achievements of the female sector in training and rehabilitation and the establishment of 14 new institutes.
During the visit, cooperation between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and some Finnish organizations in the field of training was discussed. The Dean of Girls Higher Technical Institute Ms Tamadur Al Ageel accompanied the delegation on the visit to the Institute and briefed them on the activities of the Institute, its labs, training programs and its future plans.
On the same development, the delegation commended the technical and Vocational training Corporation’s female training programs especially that training is free and the students are paid monthly bursaries which will help in establishing a specialized community and wished that there would be cooperation between the two countries.
