In accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to provide assistance for combating floods disaster in Jeddah, the Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Dr. Nasser bin Ali Al-Ghafis has instructed Jeddah Training and Vocational Training Council to begin the volunteer assistance to Jeddah disaster victims.

This was disclosed to the press by Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Zahrani, the Chairman of Jeddah Technical and Training and Vocational Council who added that all staff and students of colleges of technology and institutes in the province and nearby provinces are ready to participate in this National  campaign.

He added that the coordination has already been made with the relevant parties to address the effects of the floods that swept some of the neighborhoods in Jeddah and caused destruction of homes and properties, stressing that the TVTC is very keen to respond positively to the National Call and provide every assistance to the victims in such areas as, electricity, cooling and air conditioning, carpentry, welding, sewage systems, home appliances maintenance and car maintenance.
