The Technical Training Council has held its first meeting under the Chairmanship of the Governor of the TVTC Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafis. All members of the Council had attended the meeting.

“The most important task of the Council is to draft the general policies of training at Colleges of Technology and training institutes which come through proposing developing the policies of the Corporation, its plans and program”, the Governor said.

 The Council also adopts the annual reports of the various training councils in addition to the annual report of the TVTC in preparation to submitting it to the Board of Directors” the Governor added.

“The Council approves plans, training programs and proposals for establishing new training units and launching new branches or new Sections”, the Governor continued.

It shall be noted that the number of Technical Colleges is 35 and the vocational institutes are 62 while Girls Higher Institutes are 14 spread all over the Kingdom with more than 110000 trainees enrolled.
