Alfahaid: TVTC Opens New Technical Colleges and Offers Admission to More Than 115 Trainees Next Year

Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Governor, Dr. Ahmed Alfahaid announced increase of technical colleges capacity for more than 115 high school graduates by running seven new colleges, four of them for female. Moreover, extending the current colleges and keep up with Saudi universities in admission rates and accept more students.
“This number of trainees has been distributed between technical colleges, international Technical College, and strategic partnerships institutes in different cities and provinces. We choose majors that meet the labor market needs such as networks, computer maintenance, aircrafts maintenance, electronics maintenance, careers related to trains, accounting, cosmetology, dairy industry, rubber factories and other administrative and financial majors in order to empower graduates to find better job opportunities in public and privet sectors” Alfahaid said.
He added that TVTC will run seven technical colleges next year, three of them for male in Samtah, Tanomah and Alaflaaj while four of them for female in Makkah, Bishah, Zulfi and Mahayil Asir. In addition, TVTC is aimed to qualify citizen in technical and vocational fields that meet labor market needs and wishes of young people to enroll in technical and ITC colleges.
Furthermore, TVTC has worked with training partners from best technical and vocational training colleges and universities in the world, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain to run ITC in Saudi Arabia and twenty-four institutes of strategic partnerships with privet sector which provide training end with employment program in big international firms.
TVTC governor said that TVTC lately signed an agreement with Taif University to alignment admission rates and increase acceptance in the province.
On instructions of the wise leadership to restructure the educational and training institutions in the Kingdom, supporting integration between them, and activating the role of education policies in the Kingdom, in accordance with the national transformation program 2020 and the Saudi vision 2030.
He pointed out to the early readiness of the beginning of the next semester to welcome new trainees in the various training units in all regions of the Kingdom, where several committees were formed to follow up the work related to the training process and preparations and logistics equipment in the field.
